MidSouth Computational Biology and Bioformatics Society's annual conference will be held at ASU Feb. 19-20. Early registration is available at http://mcbios.org until Feb. 5. Regular registration fees are $275 for nonstudents and $150 for students.

Intent to graduate forms for students planning to graduate in May should be turned in to the registrar's office by Feb. 5, 2010. The cards must be advisor approved. Undergraduates should submit cards to the Registrar's office and Graduate Degree Students to Graduate School located in the Library. Recompute GPA forms need to be turned in to the Office of the Registrar, located on the second floor of the Student Union after a class has been repeated.

Rollin Tusalem, assistant professor of political science, will give the first of a series of research presentations by faculty members in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr. Tusalem will speak on Tuesday, February 9, from 4:00-5:00 in Wilson Hall 217-C (the Konold Room)

The ASU Museum gift shop is offering a 50 percent discount to faculty, staff, and students on all sterling silver jewelry in the Tuesday, Feb. 9 until Saturday, Feb. 13. The Museum is open Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum is closed on Mondays.

Zinse Agginie will visit the ASU Museum at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 for the first event in the 2010 Cultural Diversity Series. Zinse will tell African folk tales and lead us in drumming. Visitors will also play with percussion instruments from around the world, and make a percussion instrument from recycled materials.
