It seems finals are upon us. We hope all of you are prepared for your exams. Study, eat well, get a good night's sleep, and hopefully all will go well.
As today is the last day of classes it is also the last issue of The Herald for the semester. But before we end this school year, we at The Herald have a few things to say.
First, as far as semesters go, this one has been very eventful. This semester we have seen a president take office, we have kicked off ASU's Centennial Celebration, construction is going on just about everywhere you look on campus and the state has passed a new law that will prohibit smoking on the campuses of state-funded colleges, including ASU.
Though at times this semester has been trying, it has also been exciting and we've finally reached the end. For some, graduation will mark the end of their college career. To those students, we wish you luck in all you do.
For those who still have hours to complete, we hope to see you again in the fall. Spend the months we have from now until then wisely, whether you are working, sleeping, fun-in-the-sunning, taking classes or what not.
Second, with a new semester comes changes to The Herald's staff. In the fall Cecily Long, our Arts and Features editor this semester, will take the helm as editor of The Herald. Also several of our current staff will be taking new positions or moving on to new things.
We hope that the next semester's staff will answer any questions you may have and cover the issues that need covering, just as we hope that this semester's staff has done.
We thank you for all the feedback you have given us this semester, and we hope to hear more from you next semester.
We'll be here next semester, so be sure to pick up the next issue of The Herald to see what's up.
Have a good summer.
