Plastic love story

German surgeon chooses wife based on "potential"

They say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Of course, if the beholder is a plastic surgeon with all the money and the time in the world to spend on your face and physique, that beauty is subject to change.

In Berlin, Germany, a 48-year-old plastic surgeon by the name of Reza Vossough spent $30,000 and five years correcting the "deficiencies" of his 33-year-old wife, Cany.

At first, you might think, "So what? Gold digger meets surgeon. Classic love story."

However, that's not the case at all. Reza says when he met his wife, he was not attracted to her, but he "saw her potential."

If that's not sad enough, he goes on to say "She had big hips and thighs, so we made some corrections, then did a little bit more."

We made some corrections. How can you possibly talk that way about someone that you're in love with?

It's not like he held her down and made her have the surgeries, I realize that, but why would he want her to even feel like she needed them in the first place?

This woman had lipo suction, collagen injected into her lips, a forehead reduction, a tummy tuck, and underwent four breast augmentations to the point that she increased from an A cup to an F cup.

There are plenty of women and men who struggle with body image issues that don't need someone who supposedly loves them "for better or for worse" telling them that it's okay to spend that much time under the knife.

I think the only thing that needs to increase from an A cup to an F cup here is Reza Vossough's brain.
