They cater to your every need, keep your drinks filled, work for less than minimum wage and take the blame for everything that could possibly go wrong during your dining experience. Who are they? They are your waiter or waitress at your favorite restaurant.


Students spend week in service, biking

Because May is National Bike Riding Month, and I happen to enjoy riding a bike, I thought I would share with you what I do and why. Every year, a group of college students choose to ride a couple hundred miles for a cause. We call it the "Tour de Faith" for several reasons-it pushes us physically, spiritually and emotionally; we have to have faith in ourselves-and in quite a few of our cases, God-to get through the entire ride.

It seems finals are upon us. We hope all of you are prepared for your exams. Study, eat well, get a good night's sleep, and hopefully all will go well. As today is the last day of classes it is also the last issue of The Herald for the semester. But before we end this school year, we at The Herald have a few things to say.


Letter to the editor

Please show respect to others Unfortunately in the "it's all about me" age, respect for others is often non-existent. Take the recent activity at the Alpha Tau Omega house. Preparing for an end of the year party, the members of ATO have been constructing a wooden structure behind their house, located in a residential area immediately west of campus.
