Welcome back ASU students! We at The Herald are excited about another semester here at A-State! We hope that as you go through the semester, from classes, to sorority functions, to football games, to finals, you'll take us along and let The Herald be your source for all campus news and information.
With all the political turmoil that is present in our world, it amazes me that we as a generation are not more plugged in.
Let's be honest with ourselves here-how many of you would have known about the situation with Georgia and Russia if you had not been watching the Olympics and heard about some controversy between the athletes' countries? Or better yet-how many of you thought the Russians had invaded Georgia…as in the U.
I do not think that students need above average intelligence to become college graduates and recipients of higher education.
I believe there are a few steps that students can take, regardless of curriculum or year in school, to ensure success while attending college and moving into the workforce.
