At least four ASU students said they plan to file complaints with the Jonesboro Police Department early this afternoon over Jonesboro Police action following a Nov. 4 celebration for the new U.S. president-elect that turned violent after police responded to noise complaints.
The media's portrayal of people with disabilities or taboo diseases was discussed Thursday afternoon during the 12th annual diversity panel titled "UN-scripted, "UN-edited: Real Life Images of Marginalized People."
The diversity panel is hosted by associate professor of journalism Lillie Fears' Race, Gender and Media class.
Many ASU professors use technology to enhance how their students learn in the classroom and The Center for Learning Technologies helps them accomplish that.
The center helps professors and teacher assistants by providing training in how to use up-to-date technology to benefit students of the information age.
Some difficult classes may get a little easier for students next spring.
