Honors students having problems with Res Life housing portal

Yesterday morning, Residence Life closed the housing portal for Honor students due to problems with room selection.

According to the email, the housing portal would reopen at another time. All room reservations would be cleared and will be starting from a clean slate.

“The portal closed because students were able to enter before their issued timeslot,” said an assistant in the Residence Life office.

Patrick Dixon, director of Residence Life, said the portal would open up again that afternoon. “For Students, the sign up process will resume (Wednesday) at the same time slot, just one day later,” Dixon said.

According to the email, students who are found selecting a room when it is not their rightful time will be removed from Honors housing for the 2013-2014 academic year.
