Athletics for non-athletes

As the last week of regular play comes to an end for intramural basketball, the best teams will advance to the playoffs next week. Intramural softball is next to start on the schedule. But intramurals aren’t the only way non-athlete students at A-State can try their hand at sports that may interest them. The university offers a variety of credited courses ranging from archery and horseback riding to scuba diving and bowling. There are also free workout classes such as Zumba and yoga offered at the Red Wolf Center each week. ASU even offers the occasional paid lessons in activities such as fencing and swimming. No matter what athletic activity peaks your interest, the university offers a wide variety of options for the fitness feen that all students can participate in.
