Should Stadium Blvd. be renamed...

There seems to be compelling arguments on both sides of the Red Wolf Boulevard issue.
Both sides are taking a “nothing-or-all” approach to this issue, when a compromise appears so simple. There is an easily obtainable solution to the Red Wolf Boulevard situation that would not only satisfy the needs for both parties in this argument, but would allow both sides to feel right as well.
The compromising thing to do would be to change Stadium Boulevard to Red Wolf Boulevard from the Johnson Avenue/Stadium Boulevard intersection at the northern point, to the Stallings Lane/Stadium Boulevard intersection to the south.
All of the property in this section of highway is touching ASU property (minus the small section south of the overpass).
By only changing this small section of Stadium Boulevard, the city will avoid the logistical nightmare of having to change all the signs, and the many small businesses that line Stadium would avoid having to change their mailing address.
By using this compromise plan, both parties involved can claim they helped to support their community and show appreciation to their college.
